Handy tips from the kitchen: Chef Adrian Van Keulen says...

"Less is more. Often you will receive more value for your dollar when buying a more expensive, better quality item. For example, a small quantity of a good tangy, mature cheese will offer a nicer flavour than a large quantity of a cheaper, less tasty one. Likewise, you will require less of a decent quality dark chocolate than a cheap chocolate which contains a low percentage of coco solids. Another example is wholegrain bread, which is both filling and much better for you than refined white bread."
